‘Get Connected’
*Little foot by Craig Higginson presented by the Priory City of Lincoln Academy directed by Claire
Bramwell-Smith*
Dark meets light. Future meets history. Young meets old. Group meets individual. Hearts are beating with the pressures of expectations, hopes and differences of a group of South-African teenagers about to fall into a metaphorical mine shaft and to be spat out again. She loves Him, but is with Him… He loves Him but can’t tell him… She is with Him to get access to Her… and He despises Him and leaves you wondering if it was all a plan….a whispering enchantment narrates
the footsteps….
The Cradle of Humankind it is. 2012 it is. Little Foot’s remnants are the host to the last gathering of a group of teenagers before they go off to University. It doesn’t all go to plan…..or does it?
St George’s Academy present Journey to X By Nancy Harris directed by Katie Crampton
A group of friends have formed a new band. Now all they have to do is raise the money to get to London to audition for the world’s biggest talent contest….but how far are they willing to go? Costumes, songs and fundraising techniques may divide opinion but one girl has a far more important choice to make. Their journey for fame and fortune is really a journey for something far less glamorous. Something their country doesn’t approve of, something their parents wouldn’t condone. In a culture of instant fame and talent-show ‘stories’, the importance of life and friendship come to the fore.
A tale about friendship, a journey and the risks that teenagers take when plunged into an adult world.
