This year’s spectacular festive pantomime is on sale and is now up and running! This wonderful well-loved tale is full of fantastic characters including Nurse Knickerbocker, the very silly Muddles and Snow White of course. Oh yes, and not forgetting the seven dwarfs! And our production will be packed full of all the great songs, fabulous dancing, loud booing and even louder cheering that you’d expect from a traditional panto!
Book your tickets nice and early and get ready to sing-along with the loveable dwarfs and watch spellbound as the interactive ‘Magic Mirror’ comes alive!
Here’s what THE STAGE had to say about our fabulous panto:
“The handsome prince got the girl but a packed house at the Lincoln Drill Hall got a really great show as Jamie Marcus Productions showed us what pantomime is really about.
Lee Gretton, Josh Weaver and Mike Davis got the first ooh of the show as they struck up the music that doused the house lights and brought on Jane Flanagan who has a busy performance as Fairy Fortune. Her wand is worked to the bone but she turns in a great performance. I liked Julie Fox as a brilliant Wicked Queen who was up to anything the audience could shout at her while Marcus Houden was an excellent Horrid Henry and Dan Baker gave a terrific performance as larger-than-life Nurse Knickerbocker. Lee Craig Norman performed wonderfully as the Prince and as for Dannielle Hewett as Snow White – what a heart-stealing performance.
However, it’s Muddles – Matthew Hewitt – who stole it throughout. When you are the main hope for laughs you need experience and Matthew used much of his stage craft to carry the chief weight of making people laugh. He was a total success.
The audience also loved the Seven Dwarfs of course but above all they loved the fun that this panto provided in so many different ways.
The effects in this show were indeed something special with a very clever Magic Mirror and also a great projected sequence involving Scooby-Do. Some great comedy and song and dance routines made this a really good traditional panto. The dancers, their choreography, the costumes, the sets and everything about this show had the hallmark of a first class, traditional panto.”
Signed performance Saturday 17 December, 6pm!
Relaxed performance Thursday 22 December 2pm – this is a special performance where the lights in the auditorium are left on low and the volume is turned down.
People are free to move around, make noise & bring their own refreshments. Suitable for all but designed to improve the Panto experience for our customers with learning disabilities & autism. It’s also a great opportunity to introduce young children who don’t like to sit still for too long to the magic of theatre!
