LET’S BE FRIENDS!

On our fifth birthday celebrations back in March 09 we launched our brand new Friends of Lincoln Drill Hall scheme. Taking advice from our Advisory Panel (made up of volunteer members of our audience) the Friends scheme has two clear aims: to offer a range of benefits to loyal members of our audience and to create additional income for the upkeep of the venue.

Initially we are offering individual memberships only (this may change if there is sufficient demand) which can be activated at 3 different points during the year:

• Three season (whole year) membership: join anytime between the beginning of April and the end of July with membership running to the end of the following March: £42
• Two season membership: join anytime between the beginning of August and the end of November with membership running to the end of the following March: £28
• One season membership: join anytime between the beginning of December and the end of the following March: £15

Benefits will include:

• Priority season booking – book before anyone else even sees the brochure!
• Autumn & Spring season exclusive launch parties – bring up to 2 guests
• Discounts on ‘Friends events’ (look for the ‘F’ logo) – £1 off either a full or concession price ticket (subject to availability)
• A list of friends’ names on display (see below)
• An annual summer ‘Behind the Mask’ event – a ‘backstage tour’ with a difference, which will offer Friends the opportunity to find out more about how the Drill Hall operates and what its future plans are.
• Friend of a Friend – members who recommend a friend are entitled to a reduction of the subscription price of their next full year’s subscription of £1 per recommended friend who joins the Friends Membership Scheme, up to a maximum reduction of £5 in any one year.
