The Arts Award can focus around any arts or media activity. At Lincoln Drill Hall we are able to offer the Arts Award in a number of ways:
If Drama’s your thing then you may wish to consider joining our regular youth theatre: Fishtank. The Drama Instructors are qualified Arts Award advisers and can help to support you as you study for your Bronze or Silver Award. We also run summer schools and holiday workshops that might provide the perfect opportunity to work towards the Arts Award.
If you’re interested in gaining your Arts Award for FREE, we are able to offer drop-in sessions, supported by The Mighty Creatives and LOV Young People’s Programme. Sessions run fortnightly on Wednesdays 4:30-6:30pm. These drop-in sessions are able to support young people aged 12-25 to gain their Silver or Gold Arts Award, and will run until mid-2014. Young people must have an interest in the arts, and want to get involved, but don’t have to be previously involved in activities at Lincoln Drill Hall. To get involved, please email Chelsey.Barnes@litc.org.uk to find out the date of the next session.
If you’re already studying for the Arts Award then check out our Arts Award Supporter section and see if there’s anything that we can do to help you get your Award! If you’re looking to run Arts Award in your own organisation or school and need some advice or support then we can provide that too.
For more information about the Arts Award please contact Chelsey Barnes, one of the Project Workers for LOV (Lincolnshire One Venues), email firstname.lastname@example.org to find out more.
