Taking Part: Fundraising

Lincoln Drill Hall is managed by Lincoln Arts Trust Ltd and is a registered charity that receives generous funding from the City of Lincoln Council and Arts Council England. However the costs of running such a building are enormous and so we undertake a variety of activities throughout the year to generate additional income through fundraising.

How can you help?

The Writing’s On the Wall
This is our quirky new fundraising scheme that enables members of the public to get a quote, lyric, dedication or just a favourite phrase, on display in our Cafe Bar on one of our distinctive green tile bricks for two years.

The Bangers & Mash Ball

We’ve now held two fundraising Balls at the Drill Hall each one at the start of May. The 2010 Ball raised over £4500 towards the repair & maintenance of the venue and the development of the work we do with young people. And it was a fantastic evening!
