One Day Contemporary Life Drawing Workshop

Saturday 28 Jan–Saturday 15 Apr 2017, 10:30am

Saturdays 28 January and 15 April 2017

Come and join us in Lincoln for an all day intensive drawing workshop in both 2 and 3D. Using ‘line’ we will explore our understanding of the body and its surroundings with the ambition to make observed, representative and abstracted works. The Drill Hall has a long history in the city and we will consider, over the day, its past function as a place to march and dance. The New Drawing Club is interested in exploring new, personal ways of recording the figure and expressing ideas of movement, life and physicality. Kate Genever will lead the session and Julie Moosburg will be the model throughout.
This course is open to all. Artists who are new to life drawing, or have not drawn for some time, are very welcome. Each workshop stands alone and participants may choose to attend on either or both dates.

£40 per day including all materials & equipment, tea & coffee
12 places only
