Local dancer and choreographer Nikki Mclusky and members of her company FreeSpirit Dance will be holding a series of three taster workshops in the Abbey Room aimed at enthusiastic young dancers (no experience necessary!) who wish to gain more experience The workshops will be creative contemporary dance with the aim of making something wonderful!

From Idea to Publication

From Idea to Publication

This 8 week course gives you all the tools you need to discover your writing talent, explore what makes a great story and all the information you need to get your story out there with an agent and a publisher. The first half of the course covers key creative aspects for writers, including plot structure, character, strong description and editing, before moving on to look at a range of professional areas for authors such as submitting to magazines and competitions, looking for an agent and dealing with publishers. With a host of practical exercises, group discussions and helpful advice, this course is ideal for anyone just getting interested in writing or experienced scribes looking for a refresher course.

6.30pm-9pm each Thursday from 7th June until 26th July.

*Please note: this course cannot be joined late. It’s an 8 week course and must be attended from beginning to end.

Fish Tank Youth Theatre

Juniors: 9.45am - 11.15am, Seniors: 11.30am - 1pm

FishTank Youth Theatre is Lincoln’s alternative youth theatre! Drama skills, self-confidence, team building and fun are guaranteed in these sessions run by Alice Kinloch & Stephanie Milner.

FishTank Juniors: 9.45am – 11.15am: ages 7 to 11

FishTank Seniors: 11.30am – 1pm: ages 11 upwards

Sessions will run on Saturdays from 21 April to 30 June (excluding 2 June)

Please note: tickets for FishTank are only available for the full term and all tickets must be paid for by 21 April
