Here at Lincoln Drill Hall we firmly believe that £1 for £1 we offer the very best in arts and entertainment. And now that phrase, £1 for £1 has never been more apt.
Arts Council England has confirmed funding to the Lincoln Drill Hall as part of a strategic scheme called Catalyst Evolve. This is a welcome show of support in us as an organisation, and will be a crucial opportunity as we seek to continue to build our resilience and sustainability.
The Evolve fund will help organisations develop successful and sustainable fundraising models by investing in their capacity. More exciting though is a match funding programme. Any new money raised will be matched by the fund over the next three years. This means that the Drill Hall has the capacity to have £105,000 matched, pound for pound, in donations, potentially bringing in £210,000 to help sustainability. Developing the quality and breadth of the artistic programme, supporting the development of artists locally/regionally and investing in our infrastructure to enable us to expand our activities.
As a small, independent charity it is impossible to quantify just how much this boost can help the organisation, but with every investment you put in, pound for pound, you can help assure the Drill Hall continues to be the host of quality work for years to come.
