The project is being run by the Drill Hall and SoundLincs and is funded by Youth Music. For schools & community groups

We can work with you to set-up events for your group whether a workshop with a visiting dance or theatre company, a back-stage tour of the venue and the chance to chat to Drill Hall staff, or the use of rehearsal spaces. Just get in touch with our Development Officer, Charlie Kemp, by calling (01522) 873891 or emailing charlie@lincolndrillhall.com

YoungCut

YoungCut is a chance for 14-19 year olds to take the reins, put their ideas into practice and have a say in what happens at the venue! A team of creative, determined and enthusiastic 14-19 year olds make up the YoungCut team and each season they programme a night at the Drill Hall for their friends and peers. Sometimes a band, maybe a film night, perhaps a comedian… It’s up to them! They choose it, they promote it and everyone has a great night!

The first YoungCut night will be on February 18th 2010. Details to follow shortly…

Post-show Q&A sessions

We organise post-show Question & Answer sessions after some performances to give our audience the chance to find out more about the production, the company and to share their responses and ideas. These sessions have proved to be extremely popular and seem to really add to the event.

For more information about any aspect of the Taking Part programme please don’t hesitate to contact Charlie Kemp, Development Officer, on (01522) 873891 or by emailing charlie@lincolndrillhall.com
