Our Bar & Cafe Bar is now under new management – ours!

Wearlier this year we took over the running of our bar and we brought back draught beer as well as introducing a cracking little menu in association with Black Peppermint Food Co.
We really hope you like it and we look forward to welcoming you back here soon!

The new Cafe Bar is open from 9.30am – 4.30pm Monday to Saturday and then from 6.30pm on event nights until around 30 minutes after the show is over.

Events in the Cafe Bar…

The Cafe Bar plays host to occasional live music, including Saturday Sessions and occasional open mic nights.

John Pountney

Join local piano maestro John Pountney as he plays two hours of Gershwin, Irving Berlin et al on the Drill Hall Steinway on the first or second Friday of the month, usually in the auditorium. Buy yourself a coffee and a cake and enjoy! Fridays now from 12noon – 2pm:

Mid Week Music

Local musician Peter Wray now plays acoustic guitar in the Cafe Bar usually on the third Wednesday of every month from 12 noon for around an hour or so to raise money for local charities and from May also on the 1st Thursday of the month – join us for a coffee a bite to eat & some crackin’ live music!
