A Farce of Gothic Proportions!
Aegeon of Syracuse comes to Ephesus seeking his son, Antipholus, who is also searching for his missing twin and mother. Unfortunately, Ephesus are sworn enemies of Syracuse, and will put to death any Syracusean they discover unless a ransom's paid. Meanwhile, the son, Antipholus, and his servant, Dromio (also an identical twin), keep running into odd strangers who seem to know them. In this strange place full of stranger characters a farce unfolds involving rich merchants, two sisters, unrequited love, a very peculiar doctor and police pursuit over a silver chain!
Ephesus is a world of mayhem and slapstick – and it’s Halloween to boot! How can our heroes survive in place seemingly “full of witches”? Shakespeare meet Young Frankenstein - a most farcical comedy bought to life in a topsy turvy world of the supernatural determined to outdo Hammer Studios!
