Spring Music Highlights

We have a ridiculous number of brilliant music acts visiting the Drill Hall this Spring! Whether you love classical, folk, pop or swing, we have something for everyone. Our eagle-eyed followers will notice we have a number of acts that are returning due to sell-out shows before! We are delighted to welcome Russell Watson, Fairport Convention, and Jive Aces back with us.

We try and provide a dynamic, bold programme of events, and you are sure to find something to suit your taste. Perhaps pick up your tickets for Christmas? Remember that most of our events have ‘dynamic pricing,’ so the sooner you book, the cheaper the tickets are.


La Voix (26th January)

This will be the first time La Voix’s FULL Show with her amazing musicians will be appearing in Lincoln and this is definitely one you really don’t want to miss!

La Voix’s new drag show is a feast for the senses, with a show featuring her amazing live musicians, side splitting comedy and incredible live singing and vocal impressions.

Magic of the Beatles (1st February)

The UK based band performing the ultimate tribute to the sights and sounds of the worlds’ greatest group.

This highly acclaimed show is currently touring worldwide appearing at various theatres, festivals and corporate events and picking up thousands of rave reviews from Beatles fans and music critics along the way!

Fairport Convention (3rd February)

Renowned as the founding fathers of British folk-rock music, Fairport Convention has maintained consistently high standards for over five decades and remains as entertaining as ever. Still bold, still vigorous and still willing to take musical chances, an evening with Fairport never fails to dazzle and delight audiences. Just ask those who came last year!

Jason Donovan & his Amazing Mid-Life Crisis (8th February)

This is a tour with a twist!! These intimate evenings will be a unique opportunity to see him like you’ve never seen him before! Hear some new stories (and possibly one or two you’ve heard before!) Plus some of the songs you know and love for a night like no other.

Clare Teal (9th February)

As one of the UK’s greatest interpreters of song and much loved jazz performers, Clare and her Trio promise an evening of inspired music and unbridled entertainment performed by the very best.

A Night With Frank, Dean & Judy – The Hits of The Rat Pack (14th February)

Sensational swing singers Paul & Stephen Amer will be joined by singer Ellie Darnell along with a live five-piece band and backing dancers as they perform hit after hit of swing classics made famous by the Rat Pack’s residence at the famous Las Vegas Sands Casino.

Jive Aces (1st March)

The UK’s No.1 and world’s busiest swing and jive band, The Jive Aces present their biggest theatre show to date, the Big Beat Revue!
Featuring special guests, vintage pinup dancing, singing and tapping troupe, The Satin Dollz; The low-down baritone sax of Lottie B and the smooth accordion of Grazia Bevilacqua, this show features the best in 40s and 50s jive, rhythm and blues and rock ‘n’ roll.

Russell Watson (8th March)

Join four-time Brit Classical Award winner Russell Watson for a very special evening, accompanied by his pianist and guest choir.

Having sold more than seven million albums worldwide, Russell Watson is firmly established as the UK’s best-selling classical crossover artist of all time. To date, his illustrious career has included performances for Her Majesty The Queen, The Pope and two US Presidents.

Jon Boden and the Remnant Strings (15th March)

In 2017 former Bellowhead front-man and multiple BBC Folk Award winner Jon Boden introduced the new big band Jon Boden & The Remnant Kings.  Jon Boden has become the ‘stand out performer of his generation’ (The Guardian) of traditional folk artists; but one whose repertoire extends far beyond the boundaries of the genre. He brings us his sensational folk music which guarantees to blow your mind.
