Organising a night out to the Drill Hall is doddle! Let us show you how…
We know that planning the perfect night out can be a chore, so here’s some info we’ve put together to help.
We know that organising a night out to see a show in the evening, or getting everyone together to see an earlier family show needs a little planning. You have to plan the journey, sort out parking, and all the other little things that can make things seem a lot of effort. So hopefully this blog can make this all a tonne easier so that you can enjoy some of the amazing things going on in our city, and hopefully pop by the Drill Hall. There is so much to see in Lincoln, and the Drill Hall has some staggeringly good shows coming soon, so lets make it risk-free.
Access to the Drill Hall
We want to make things as easy as possible for you to enjoy your visit to the Drill. Coming to see a show? Book your tickets in advance to get the best prices, *we can send them to you in advance or save them here for you on the night! We recommend you show up half an hour before the event starts; that way, you can grab a snack and a drink at the bar and pre-order your interval drinks to save time. Doors to the auditorium usually open around 15 mins before curtain up.
*Please note: during the Coronavirus lock down we’re not able to post tickets out, so please either choose to Print at Home or collect from us when we re-open. Thank you.
Nearest parking to the Drill Hall
Parking in such a busy city-centre can seem like a lot of hassle, so we want to simplify your visit. If access is an issue, (or you don’t fancy a stroll,) we recommend the NCP Car Park right next door to us at the top of Freeschool Lane. It is one of the more expensive options, but you can’t get closer.
Cheapest parking within walking distance of the Drill Hall.
If you don’t mind walking 5/10 minutes (and maybe take the chance to grab some food, or a drink or two) we recommend using one of the cheaper car parks in the city centre. For an evening show you could be looking for £2.50 parking, which is not bad at all! There are so many fantastic bars within walking distance, from Cardinal’s Hat to The Pessimist, that would definitely wrap up your show-night. Fancy a spot to eat? The Drill Hall is 5 minutes from a multitude of options.
The Broadgate Car Park, (LN2 5AP) is one of the cheapest and is well-within walking distance to our venue.
Parking for up to 2 Hours is £2.40.
Parking for up to all day is £5.
Evening price (between 18:00-08:00)
Night rate is £2.50.
