Here at Lincoln Drill hall collaboration is key.  Our partnerships with other organisations helps our funds go further and we’re delighted to be part of the following funded projects.

Lincolnshire One Venues

We’re one of 11 performing and visual arts venues that make up this network across the county.  The group is currently delivering a countywide young people’s programme, developing opportunities for 12-25 year olds across Lincolnshire to access and engage with the arts as producer’s programmers and artists.  The project is funded by the Paul Hamlyn Foundation, Esmee Fairbairn Foundation, Youth Music and the east Midlands Film Hub.

In Good Company

This is an artist development programme for emerging artists in the East Midlands. Three of the Lincolnshire One Venues are part of this project that is led by Derby Theatre. Other partners are Create Theatre, Mansfield, The Brewhouse in Burton and Attenborough Arts Centre, Leicester.  The project is funded by Grants for the Arts (Arts Council England) and the partner venues.

Future Arts Centres – Eurovision

Lincoln Drill Hall is a founder member of Future Arts Centres, a national network of nine venues whose aim is to champion the role of arts centres in shaping artistic and community life in their area.  As part of this we’re working on a project called Eurovision, which seeks to strengthen international relationships between our arts centres and those overseas.  In Lincoln we are currently exploring ways to try and forge links with venues in Lithuania.  As well as the chance for shared learning and development the project aims to deliver 6 international commissioned pieces of work for touring in the UK.  The project is funded through Arts Council England’s Ambitions For Excellence programme.

Lincoln Cultural and Arts Partnership

We’re proud to be on the main steering group for this network, that brings together stakeholders in the city with a responsibility for and interest in the cultural development of Lincoln.

Formed as part of an Arts Council funded Cultural Destinations award, the group has brought together a range of organisations to provide a more joined up approach to cultural provision in Lincoln.
