New ‘Pay What You Decide’ Family Theatre Performances Announced

One request the Drill Hall often receives is for more affordable family theatre. We certainly pitch all our tickets at as low and subsidised a price as possible, however we wanted to do something even better. We are now offering two performances in our Spring Season as Pay What You Decide. So book your tickets, as the seats are sure to go.

If All The World Was Paper, which will be with us on the 2nd March, and The Giant Jam Sandwich, on the 16th March.

For a little more information about the shows read the remainder of our blog.

If All the World Was Paper (Saturday 2nd March)

Fred and Ted are best friends. They’ve been best friends a long, long time. But they don’t always see eye to eye. Fred likes things ‘just so’. Ted is more ‘that’ll do’. Today, they have a job to do… together.

One adventure playground. One big task. One friendship. Two grandads. Two paintbrushes. Two very different ways of doing things.

An hilarious and poignant new play about falling out, making up and the joy of true friendship.

For ages 3-6.

The Giant Jam Sandwich (Saturday 16th March. Performances at 11:30 and 14:00)

One hot summer’s day, four million wasps invade the quiet village of Itching Down. The picnickers panic and the farmer stops haymaking. The wasps are noisy, nasty and worst of all, they don’t mind who they sting! That is until the baker has an ingenious idea…

Join the villagers in their giant sandwich-making plan to defeat the wasps and help save the day, in a fun-packed feast for 3-7 year olds and their families.
